Inspection Summary Areas Inspected: Material Control and Accounting.

The inspection involved 13 inspector-hours onsite by one NRC inspector and was begun during the regular hours.

Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements in the one area examined during the inspection.

The inspection results were attained through:

An audit and examination of Unit No. 2 SNM accountability records including Nuclear Material Transaction Reports (Form NRC-741) for the receipt of the initial fuel assemblies for Unit No. 2.

b.

A review of Fuel Assembly transfer procedures for appropriate authori-zations aad documentation.

A review of Fuel Assembly History Cards for accuracy in reflecting the c.

current location of fuel assemblies.

In addition, a physical inventory of the 157 Unit No. 2 fuel assemblies stored in the Unit 2 spent fuel basin was taken and serial numbers and storage locations verified.

A material balance statement for Unit No. 2, enriched uranium, as of June 6, 1980, is included as Exhibit A.
