Enclosure 1 PG&E Letter DCL-03-032 FEBRUARY 2003, OPERATION SUMMARIES DIABLO CANYON POWER PLANT UNITS I AND 2 Summary of Unit 1 Operation Unit 1 began February in Mode 1 (Power Operation) at approximately 100 percent power. There were no significant operational activities.

Summary of Unit 2 Operation Unit 2 began February in Mode I at approximately 95 percent power due to an end-of cycle coast down. On February 3, 2003, operators reduced power, separated the unit from the grid and manually shutdown the reactor to Mode 3 (Hot Standby) to start refueling outage 11 (2R1 1). The unit ended the month in Mode 6 (Refueling).

Actuations of Safety or Pressurizer Power Operated Relief Valves There were no challenges to the pressurizer power operated relief valves, pressurizer safety valves, or steam generator safety valves.
