4 Unit 2 Refueling Outage 12 completed December 16,2004.
SUMMARY
- Unit 2 continued the twelfth refue!ing outage (2R12) in December2004, in Mode 5 (Cold Shutdown).
On December 10 QUnit 2 entered Mode 2 (Startup), and was taken critical for testing in preparation for re-start. On December 12, Operators increased reactor power above 5 percent, entering Mode I (Power Operation). On December 16, Operators paralleled Unit 2 to the grid, ending 2R12. On December222, Unt 2 reached approximately 100 percent power. There were no further significant operational activities.
