Vermont Yankee Cycle 15 Core Operating Limits Report
Dear Sir:
In accordance with Section 6.7.A.4 of the Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications, please find enclosed a mid-cycle revisica to the Vermont Yankee Core Operating Limits Report (COLR) for Cycle 15 [ Reference (b)].
This revision affects COLR pages (i), (ii), (3),(9), and (13). It incorporates the results of a recently completed sensitivity study performed with approved methods to detemiine the impact on the MCPR operating limits from exposure windows on both the previous and current operating cycles, and from coastdown operation during the current opeating cycle. The sensitivity study results show that the Cycle 15 MCPR operating limits must be adjusted to assure full power operation up to the exposure of 9647 mwd /St. The adjustment of 0.01 ACPR will be added from EOFPL-lGWD/St to EOFPL when the turbine trip without bypass is the limiting uar,rient.
These changes provide the MCPR operating limits far the duration of Cycle 15. Should you have any questions regarding the enclosed material, please contact this office.
