Gentlemen:
Haddam Neck Plant Modified Amended Security Plan, Revision 11 in Reference (1) Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPCO) submitted to the Staff, pursuant to 10CFR50.54(p), Revision 11 to the Haddam Neck Plant Modified Amended Security Plan (MASP). In Reference (2) the Staff reviewed the Reference (1) submittal and determined that portions of the proposed Revision were not acceptable.
CYAPCO maintains its position that the Reference (1) Revision meets the intent of 10CFR50.54(p) and does not degrade the physical security plan. As discussed with the Staff on June 12 and 19,1985, clarifications of the Reference (1)
Revision, with further elaboration and modification, are provided as Attachment
- 1. Figure 3-2 and pages 6-12 and 7-3 are provided as replacements for the corresponding pages in the Reference (1) submittal.
Pursuant to 10CFR73.21(b), the MASP is considered safeguards information and, as such, it is required that the MASP be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR2.790(d).
