Haddam Neck Plant Additional Information on Proposed Technical Specification for Flammable Liquids Control Pursuant to the telephone discussion of July 24,1935 between Northeast Utilities and the NRC Staff, Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company is amending its proposed Technical Sppcification on Flammable Liquids Control for the Haddam Neck Control Room.W The alternate wording agreed to is attached and includes a definition for " suitable" containers. The definition of the word " suitable" i consistent with our previous submittal discussing flammable liquid containers U (J and is consistent with Section-2.2 of the Safety Evaluation Report (3) issued with the exemptions from 10CFR50, Appendix R.

- 1. Written permission is obtained from the Supervising Control Operator or Shift Supervisor, and
- 2. The flammable liquid is contained in a suitable
- container not to exceed one quart in volume, and
- 3. A dedicated fire watch is assigned to the activity.
