Florida Power Corporation (FPC) is submitting this letter in accordance with Reference A.

FPC responded to NRC Generic Letter 88-17 (Reference B) in our January 4,1989 letter (Reference C) . Our letter responded to each recommended action identified in the Generic Letter and outlined administrative changes, training, ar.slysis and modifications that would be accomplished to comply with the recommendations. All actions identified in our response with a completion date at the end of Refuel'7 and Refuel 8 have been completed in Refuel 7. The ,
