Dear Sir:
Florida Power Corporation (FPC) hereby submits the Inservice Inspection (ISI) Plan as required by the 1983 Edition of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI, Article IWA-1400(c).
Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations, 50.55a(g) requires that the Inservice Inspection and Testing Programs be updated every ten years to a new Edition of Section XI. This Plan is based on the 1983 Edition, through Summer 1983 addenda and describes our inservice inspection activities for the next ten years (ending March 15, 1997). Also attached is a description of FPC's control process for this Plan.
The ISI Plan is a general document specifically wr tten for submittal to the NRC. It is part of a larger, more detai?ad program document which includes Examination Procedures, detailed Schedules Drawings, etc. The Program is maintained onsite and is available for review by NRC staff.
Relief Requests associated with the 1983 Edition of Section XI for the Plan are under development and will be submitted under separate cover.
