Dear Sir:
Please find the enclosed supplemental Licensee Event Report (LER) 50-302/97-031-01. In LER 50 302/97-03100, FPC discussed inadequate cable sizing and the potential for cables to experience a temperature higher than the cable insulation ratir,g. FPC made a commitrnent to perform an evaluation on the affected cables and suppement the LER with the results of the evaluation. This LER supplement discusses the reults of the evaluation performed by FPC for the cables identified in LER 50-302/97-031-00.
