Dear Sir:
The' purpose of this letter is to revise a commitment contained in the subject letter. The following commitment was made in LER 50-302/97-016-00:
A program wil! be developed to identify design outputs and assumptions which could be invalidated by field activities or operating procedures. This action will be completed by December 15,1997.
During the initial stages of program development, FPC recognized a more affective corrective action to prevent recurrence for the type of calculation process weakness identified. Therefore, the above commitment is revised to the following:
Nuclear Engineering Procedure NEP-213. " Design Analyses / Calculations," will be revised to provide guidance for performing plant walkdowns verifying and
