Failure to perform daily surveillance testing per the require-ments of Section 4.ll.D of the Tech. Specs. which is required to assure con,iiance with Section 3.11.D of the Tech. Specs.

CauseandCorrectiveAction-ThecauseofthiseventisbelievedtobeafaIEre to revise l'NPS Procedures when Sections 3.11.D and 4.ll.D were incorporated into the PNPS Tech. Specs. (1/8/80) compounded by an inadvertent removal of these ~

sections from the Tech. Specs. (5/10/80).

, We have initiated an SRO change to PNPS Procedure 8.A.23 reflecting the re<hi ement2 t o f Sections 3.11.D and 4.11.D. We have also initiated an investigation to determine if, since 1/8/80, we have operated in compliance with Section 3.ll.D. At this time we believe that since 1/8/80, we have operated within the requirements of our power flow map and therefore have operated in compliance with Section 3.ll.D.
