Cancellation of LER 95-019 By this letter, Reportable Occurrence No. LER 95-019 is being canceled.

Vermont Yankee has determined through further review of the design basis requirements for the Reactor Building doors that classification of these doors as vital fire doors was hi enor. Tine design basis of the reactor building doors is as airlock doors, not vital fire doors. The doors were mistakenly added to the procedure for inspection of fire rated doors and inspected to requirements which they are not required to meet. The installed doors meet all requirements for airlock doors and therefore there was no operation or condition prohibited by the Technical Specifications as reported in Reference (b).

As LER 95-019 is being canceled no supplemental LER will be submitted as indicated in the original LER.
