Annual Certification of the Generating Stations Emergency Plan (GSEP)

Per GSEP Section 8.5.(2), this letter certifies Revision 71 as the current Revision to the Generating Stations Emergency Plan. The effective date of Revision 71 is February 16, 1996.

An annual review of the GSEP was performed and the results are attached and on file with Emergency Preparedness. This review recommended completion of the onsite and offsite reviews for GSEP change 96-G2 (elimination of State Agency Update Checklist, changed vendors for bicassay services, revised verbiage on hospital letters of agreements, and clarification of the definition potential release). GSEP change request 96-G1 (Central EOF) is pending NRC approval.

Please place this memo in the front of your controlled copy of the GSEP.
