- LICENSEE PERFORMANCE REVIEW FOR FRAMATOME INC., DOCKET NUMBER 70-1257

Dear Mr. Land:

This letter refers to our meeting, conducted as a webinar, on March 21, 2018, during which we discussed the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) evaluation of your performance in the four functional areas of safety operations, radiological controls, facility support, and other areas.

The meeting afforded you the opportunity to provide feedback to the NRC regarding your perception of the NRC performance review. The meeting was beneficial and provided the NRC with an acceptable level of confidence of your continued safe and secure operation of the site.

The meeting also afforded members of the public the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to the NRC regarding our inspection program for the Framatome facility in Richland, WA. The list of meeting attendees is enclosed. The meeting slide presentations are available under accession numbers ML18081A132 (for NRCs slides) and ML18081A130 (for Framatomes slides) in ADAMS. The 2018 License Performance Review report (2018-001) is also available in ADAMS under accession number ML18064A175.
