TheEOFshallhaveappropriate technical datainformation andplantrecordstoassistinthediagnosis ofplantconditions toevaluatethepotential oractualreleaseofradioactive materials totheenvironment.
AnAssistant PlantManagerinthiscentershallorganizeandmanageI&Msupport(doseassessment, communication, andradiation protection) resources tosupporttheTSCandcontrolroomoperators.
3.0 LIMITATIONS
ANDPRECAUTIONS 3.1TheEmergency Operation Facilityshallbeactivated asnecessary foranyemergency condition andspecifically forSiteEmergencies andGeneralEmergencies.
Thisprocedure coverstheoperation oftheEOFuntilestablishment oftheAEPEmergency ResponseOrganization on-siteand/oruntildeactivation oftheEOF.4.0INSTRUCTIONS 4.1Uponrecognition oftheneedfor,ordesirability ofactivating theEOF,theOn-SiteEmergency Coordinator shalldirecttheCommunications DirectortoinitiatePMP-2080-EPP.008, callingoff-dutyPlantpersonnel forthepurposeofstaffingtheEOF.4.2TheinitialpeopletoarriveintheEOFshouldpreparethefacilityforoperation byperforming thefollowing:
4.2.1UnlocktheEOFequipment cabinet.ThekeymaybeobtainedfromtheShiftSecuritySupervisor orfromtheTrainingDepartment secretary.
