CPSES - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS MANUAL REVISION - 25 i

DETAILED DESCRIPTION J

Prefix Page Page 2 (as amended)

Group Description 4-25 2

Adds circuit 4 protective devices to panelboard 2B10-1-1-1 (Table Section 4.3, "480 VAC From Plant Support Power Systems Panelboards") of TRM 4

Table 4.1.lb, " Unit 2, Containment Penetration Conductor Protective 4

Devices". Adds note that these breakers will become containment penetration conductor overcurrent protective devices when transfer switch CP2-BSTSNB-01 is aligned to plant support power panel j

2B10-1-1-1/04/BKR-1 and 2. Transfer switch CP2-BSTSNB-01 is normally aligned to MCC 2EBI-2/12B/BKR-1 and 2.

Addition Circuit 4 of panelboard 2B10-1-1 1 fr-ds the Unit 2 Personnel Airlock Hydraulic Units CP2-MEMEHU-01 and 02. CP2-MEMEHU.02 is located inside the containment. When transfer switch CP2-BSTSNB-01 is aligned to 2B10-1-1-1, the circut 4 protective devices will provide the required penetration overcurrent protection. Including these protective devices in Table 4.1.lb of the TRM ensures that the surveillance requirements of Technical Specification 4.8.4 are met. Transfer switch CP2-BSTSNB-01 is only aligned to plant support power during modes 5 and 6 as described in the governing operations procedure SOP-613B except for a brief test window j

associated with modification DM 96-022 testing; therefore, maintaining the Tech Spec surveillance requirements for these breakers is conservative.
