Dear Sir:

The purpose of this correspondence to convey a corrected final updated Decommissioning Funding Plan (DFP) for Framatomes Richland nuclear fuel fabrication facility. NRC regulations at 10 CFR 70.25(e) require that decommissioning cost estimates be adjusted at intervals not exceeding three years. Framatomes Decommissioning Cost Estimate update was submitted via Reference 1 and ultimately approved by the NRC via Reference 2.

The attached DFP includes the finalized NRC approved financial assurance instruments that have been incorporated into the finalized DFP. It also includes a certification by Framatomes CFO.

The DFP is a proprietary document and Framatome requests that the NRC handle it as such. This transmittal letter is not proprietary when the attachments are removed.
