l Enclosed is additional information to support review of a license l amendment request dated November 22, 1993 (PY-CEI/NRR-1654L) entitled ,

" Replacement of Selected Analog Leak Detection System Instruments with GE l NUMAC Leak Detection Monitors". ]

Engineering reports are enclosed which summarize Electromagnetic Interference / Radio-frequency Interference (EMI/RFI) and seismic analyses performed in support of the Leak Detection System design change. When combined with previously submitted information, these reports show that j implementation of the design change at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant is  !

I acceptable. The Significant Hazard and Environmental Considerations provided in the November 22, 1993 letter have been reviewed, and were .

Also note that the new Leak Detection System monitor design vill reflect License Amendment 59: specifically, delta-temperature isolation of the Reactor Core Isolation Cooling system (see page 31 of Attachment 1 to the i 11/22/93 letter) is not included, but the alarm function is maintained. l l
