Forked River Nuclear Station Docket No. 50-363 Licensing No. CPPR-96 Inspection No. 80-02 This letter is to provide you with a further update of the soil erosion control and stabilization projects being undertaken at the Forked River Site as stated in our July 28, 1982 letter. Below is a listing, by area, of the progress made since July 28, 1982.

1) Dredge spoil slope north of the firepond and south of sedimentation basin #3. Stabilization work in this area has been initiated, however, due to problems encountered during the work, completion of this project will be delayed Jntil late spring--early summer of 1983.
2) The soil erosion control project at the barge unloading facility is complete.
3) The soil erosion cont rol project west of the Energy Spectrum and north of sedimenation basia #2 is couplete.
