FORKED RIVER NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NUMBER 50-363 RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN 79-09 -
Your letter dated April 17, 1979 requested a response concerning the use of General Electric Type AK-2 circuit breakers in safety-related systems for the subject facility.
It has been determined that this type of equipment has not been purchased to-date.
If such circuit breakers are planned to be used in the future, the safety system involved will be identified and a preventive maintenance program will be developed, in accordance with Ite.a 3 of the subject IE Bulletin, which will assure design performance of the safety system utilizing the G.E. AK-2 circuit breakers.
