FORKED RIVER NUCLEAR STATION LICENSE NO. CPPR-96 INSPECTION NO. 78-15 DOCKET NO. 50-363
REFERENCE:
JCP&L LETTER (E&L-ll48) DATED 1/16/79.
This letter expands " Corrective Action Taken" in the response given in the referenced letter to the infraction uncovered by Mr.
L.
Narrow during his inspection of November 13-16, 1978.
This letter should be considered in conjunction with our January 16, 1979 response.
Corrective Action Taken 1.
The Theodolite was serviced and checked for accuracy.
This certification is identified through dated tag affixed to the instrument.
2.
The two tachometers (used to check concrete vibrators) were sent for re-calibration but have not been received at the site as yet.
3.
The thermocouples were removed from the site.
Substitute thermocouples were inadvertently placed in service without checking certifications.
These were subsequently checked and found to be in calibration thus validating the test data taken following the expiration of the data posted on the calibration due sticker. 7906040401 If you have any questions concerning the revised corrective actions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
