Dear Mr. Schwencer:

In your letter dated September 14, 1984, you requested Illinois Power (IP) to provide additional information on the CLASIX-3 code which has been used to support licensing activities associated with Mark III plants. The Hydrogen Control Owners' Group (HCOG) is scheduled to submit to the NRC a generic plan to provide additional information on the CLASIX-3 code by December 21, 1984. This plan will include a program, subtasks, and schedules for providing the information you requested. By January 19, 1985, IP will review this plan and submit its further response to your September 14, 1984 letter, including an identification of the specific areas of the HCOG generic plan upon which IP will rely for CPS licensing.

Please contact us should you have any further questions in this area.
