Dear Mr. Kappler:

This interin report is an update in response to the subject IE Bulletin addressing the use of. nonconforming materials supplied by Tube-

-Line Corporation. Previous -Illinois Power reports on this subject were supplied to you via letters from Mr. D..P. Hall to Mr. J. G. Keppler dated December-23, 1983 and May 4, 1984. These reports provided Illinois Power's plan for identifying, locating and dispositioning Tube-Line Corporation materials supplied to the Clinton Power Station (CPS);

To date. Tube-Line materials supplied to CPS have been identified and 64% of these materials have been located.. Review of safety related construction travelers to locate the remaining materials is continuing.

'Nonconformance reports (NCRs) are being' issued and dispositioned as materials are located and the nonconforming materials are being returned to the vendors.

Illinois Power will. provide your office with an interim report on resolution of IE Bulletin No. 83-06 in ninety (90) days.
