AP600 REACTOR INTERNALS FLOW-INDUCED VlBRATION ASSESSMENT REPORT

Dear Mr. Quay:

Enclosed are two copies of the AP600 Reactor Internals Flow-Induced Vibration Assessment Report, Revision 2. This report provides the basis for the information on reactor internals vibration included in subsection 3.9.2 of the AP600 SSAR. The report compares the AP600 design to the internals J L design in operating nuclear power plants and provides reference to previous testing. The reports includes an evaluation of expected vibration levels in the AP600 and provides information for a 7 preoperational test. Two copies of a non-proprietary version are also provided. ,

This submittal completes the action required for DSER open item 3.9.2.3-2.

Five copies of this report are being provided to Diane Jackson.  ;
