The NRC Staff performed a Pre-Implementation Audit of the Clinton Power Station (CPS) Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) on December '
12-13, 1984. As'a result of the NRC Staff concerns. identified in the audit. exit meeting, Illinois Power (IP) submitted to the Staff an SPDS Action Plan via IP letter U-0771,. dated December- 21, 1984. The actions identified in this plan have been completed.
Due to the critical nature of the SPDS issues with respect to the CPS project schedule, it is crucial that IP meet with the NRC Staff to
