U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission CNL-21-096 Page 2 December 17, 2021 Description of Changes and Summary of Analysis CECC EPIP-9 TVA revised this EPIP as follows:

Section 4.2, Plume Tracking and Survey Clarified correct method for taking open window readings to be consistent with current practice and guidance in Attachment 2, Monitoring Team Activation / Shift Turnover.

Section 7.1, Preparation for Plume Air Sample Clarified correct method for taking open window readings to be consistent with current practice and guidance in Attachment 2, Monitoring Team Activation / Shift Turnover.

Attachment 8, Monitoring Team Vehicle Inventory Added a line at the top of page 1 to record the vehicle number. Added instruction on page 1 to power on inventoried cell phone to allow for updates. Added designated area on page 2 to record the expiration date of the batteries that are inventoried.

The changes were evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(3) and 10 CFR 72.44(f). TVA determined that the changes did not reduce the effectiveness of the TVA REP. The TVA REP, as revised, continues to meet the requirements in Appendix E to 10 CFR 50 and the planning standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b).
