Thank you for your invitation to visit the Radiological Emergency Assessment

' Center in Springfield. We are looking forward to meet with your staff and tour the emergency response facilities. Presently, we are committed to participate in several full scale exercises in the remaining months of this year to support our asressment of NRC regional response performance. However, we would like to plan a visit for early next year. Several of my staff members will be going to the LaSalle exercise in April of 1986, as part of our Region III response assessment, and perhaps we could meet in that time frame.
