e NOTE TO: James M. Taylor, IE NOTES FOR ED0 STAFF MEETING The following are visiting the NRC Operations Center for a briefing on NRC Incident Response and tour of the Center:

New York State Dr. William Stasiuk, Director, Center for Environmental Health James Papile, Director, Radiological Emergency Preparedness Group James Baranski, Radiological Emergency Preparedness Group New Jersey David Scott, Chief, Bureau of Nuclear Engineering, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Pennsylvania Margaret Reilly, Chief, Division of Environmental Radiation, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources Additional discussion items follow:

1. Emergency Response and Access to Plant Data A. NRC concept of ERDS (current status, plant data which will be available, how the system will work and legal status);

B. Concept of New York State Data Needs (data State needs to provide a basis for decisions during emergencies and NRC support needed to help meet those data needs).

. II. NRC/ State Relations in Working with Licensees State participation in NRC's plant visits and future interactions with licensees on implementation of ERDS.
