Docket Nos.: 50-348-CivP; 50-364-CivP ASLBP No. 89-591-01-CivP

Dear Ms. Shea:

This is in response to your letter dated August 21, 1989 concerning the current status of the petition filed by Alabama Electric Cooperative (AEC) for enforcement of certain antitrust license conditions in the Farley license.

As a result of the settlement agreement reached between AEC and Alabama Power Company the Staff completed it review of the matter. Accordingly, this enforcement matter is closed and no further action on the petition will be taken by the Staff.

Sincerely 3
