(Seabrook Station, Units 1 and 2) May 6, 1986 MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

'1EVISION OF PREHEARING CONFERENCE ORDERS RULING ON CONTENTIONS Following the prehearing conference held on March 25-26, 1986, this Board ruled on the admissibility of offsite emergency planning contentions submitted by the parties to this proceeding in an Order entered on April 1, 1986.1 In that Order (at 1-2) we indicated that we would follow with a memorandum to provide the basis for our rulings, and that any motions concerning the rulings would await the explanatory memorandum. On April 29, 1986, we issued the explanatory memorandum.2 In a timely filed objection dated May 1,1986, the Applicants, pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 5 2.751a(d), requested that we I Memorandum and Order [ Admitting and Rejecting Contentions] dated April 1,1986.

2 Memorandum and Order (Ruling on Contentions and Establishing Date and Location for Hearings) dated April 29, 1986.

2 reconsider our admission of New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution (NECNP) Contention RERP-10, subpart (e), on the ground that this subpart had been withdrawn. Applicants cited the withdrawal statement of NECNP's counsel during the prehearing conference on March 26, 1986 (Tr.

2277).

The Board agrees that we overlooked the cited statement by NECNP's counsel and inadvertently admitted NECNP Contention 10, subpart (e).

Additionally, in our Order of April 29, 1986 (at 65, n. 14), we corrected our April 1,1986 Order to indicate that part (f) of NECNP Contention NHLP-2 was admitted.

ORDER Our Memoranda and Orders of April 1,1986 and April 29, 1986 are re*/ised so as to show that NECNP Contention RERP-10, subpart (e), is withdrawn, and that NECNP Contention NHLP-2, subpart (f), is admitted.
