On May 24, 1988, NECNP filed a motion for an extension of time to June 9 within which to reply to Applicants' suggstion of mootness filed on May 19, 1988. The current due date is June 2. In its motion, NECNP advised that the Staff did not object to the granting of its motion, and, in a phone call on June 1, NECNP's counsel advised that Applicants do not object.

Absent objections, and good cause having been shown for the requested extension in that NECNP's expert consultant will not be available until June 1, the instant motion is granted.
