Dear Mr. Whittemore:

I am in receipt of your proposed " Agreement Regarding Disclosure of Confidential Information" filed along with an August'17, 1978 motion entitled: " Applicant's (a) Reply ,

to Suffolk County's Request to Inspect and (b) Motion for a Protective Order. As I indicated to you during today's telephone conversation, the above Agreement is satisfactory to the County providing that arrangements can be made for MHB inspection of the G.E. material at a G.E. office in the San Francisco area. MHB and' County Counsel will sign and

-return said Agreement tu you as soon as the County Legisla-ture approves a pending MHB contract calling for the pro-vision of certain additional services by MHB. My understanding '

is that you will then submit this Agreement to the Hearing Board along with a request for a protective order.

The County also wishes to inspect a G.E. document dated June 2, 1978, and entitled: " Topical Rept. Test Program for Collet Retainer Tube", NED-21021-P. This document was refer-enced in the July 19, 1978 Nuclear Regulatory Commission PDR ge WIl h 1 l
