A.c, we are trporting the following Abnornal Occurrence an A(972-08 and confirning our telephone conversation with your office on this date.

At approxinately 10:00 a.m. on October 20. during conduct of the Auto::atic Depressurization Systen 'B' Logic Test the Relief Valve Initiation Tine Delay Relay (No. 2E-K5B) was found to energize at 123 eeconds. This constitutes a violation of the specified t.itur in Table 3.2.1 of Technical Specifications, which requirca a tino delay of < 120 acconds. The reactor voo operating at approxinately 50% pover at the tirae of thio occurrence.

The relay was it=nediately recet, functionally tested and verified to
