Nucicar Power Station, Section 6.7, we are reporting the following Abnormal Occurrence as AO-75-12 and confirming our telephone conversation with your office.
E At approximately 0700 on June 9, 1973, while performing a routine

scheduled surveillance test, it was deternined that th "B" Standby Liquid
. Control System Pump delivered a flow rate of 40.9 gpm at 1160 psig. Vermont
?
Yankee Technical Specifications, Section 4.4.A.1, requires a flow rate F
verification of 35 gpm at 1275 psig. Prior to this discovery, the redundant system pump had been successfully tested.

r Action has been initiated to investigate 'the cause of this occurrence.
L The plant was in a cold shutdown condition at the time of this incident.
