U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 July 18, 1994 Summary Report began on December 20, 1991, and was based on breaker closure. No ISIS were performed during the six-day interval between December 14 and December 20. For the purpose of eliminating apparent gaps in the reporting periods for ISI summary reports, TVA considers the

" breaker-t n-breaker" approach to be more appropriate for these reports in the future.

This ISI summary report is being provided in accordance with IWA-6220 of the 1977 Edition, Summer 1978 Addenda of ASME Section XI code.

Please direct questione concerning this issue to Don V. Goodin at (615) 843-7734.
