REVIEW OF REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR RECENT EXTENDED POWER UPRATES In SECY-02-0115 dated June 27, 2002, the NRR staff committed, in part, to perform an assessment of requests for additional information (RAIs) issued during the NRR staffs review of past extended power uprate (EPU) applications. The NRR staff further committed to use the results of this assessment in the development of the review standard for EPUs and share the results of the assessment with internal and external stakeholders. The NRR staff had previously completed the assessment of the RAIs and used the results in the development of draft Review Standard (RS)-001, "Review Standard for Extended Power Uprates," which was issued in December 2002. The attached listing of RAIs which were issued during the NRR staffs review of the EPU applications for Duane Arnold, Dresden Units 2 and 3, Quad Cities Units 1 and 2, Clinton, Arkansas Nuclear One Unit 2, and Brunswick Units 1 and 2, is being made available in ADAMS under Accession No. ML023290378 to complete the NRR staffs commitment to share this information with internal and external stakeholders.
