On May 7, 2024, and May 9, 2024, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff conducted two public scoping meetings to gather information necessary to prepare an environmental impact statement to evaluate the environmental impacts for the renewal of the operating licenses for Clinton Power Station, Unit 1.
