One White Flint North Room 0-6B4 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will meet with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to discuss its updated plans for the submittal of an amendment request for Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, to revise the fire protection requirements in the operating licenses. The planned revisions are intended to adopt the risk-informed, performance-based alternative described in National Fire Protection Association Standard NFPA 805, as permitted by paragraph 50.48(c) of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

CATEGORY 1:* This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
