Category: This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of this teleconference meeting between Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss PG&E's planned submission of a license amendment request for Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, to adopt Technical Specifications Task Force (TSTF)

Traveler TSTF-505, Revision 2, "Provide Risk-Informed Extended Completions Times -

RITSTF [Risk-Informed TSTF] Initiative 4b" (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18183A493). The NRC issued a final revised model safety evaluation approving TSTF-505, Revision 2, on November 21, 2018 (ML18269A041). The PG&E presentation slides for this meeting will be available in ADAMS when provided by the licensee and the ADAMS Accession number will be added to this meeting notice.
