Dear Mr. Schimmel:

This letter confirms our plans as discussed between members of our staffs to meet and

discuss the four cross-cutting themes that were open for Prairie Island Nuclear Generating

Plant, Units 1 and 2, during the 2009 Mid-Cycle Assessment. The meeting will begin at

6:00 p.m. CDT on December 1, 2009, in the Red Wing Public Library located at 225 East

Avenue, Red Wing, Minnesota. This meeting will be open to the public.
