OF THE MAY 18, 2016, PRAIRIE ISLAND PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE On May 18, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public open house at the Red Wing Public Library in Red Wing, Minnesota, to discuss the 2015 annual assessment results for Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2. Enclosure 1 is a list of attendees for the meeting. The NRC letter and meeting notice for this open house can be found in ADAMS at Accession Number ML16118A479 and ML16119A041, respectively.
The NRC provided discussions related to the NRCs assessment of Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2, which was documented in the April 26, 2016, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter. Throughout the open house, members of the public were given the opportunity to ask questions of NRC officials.
