April 2, 2024 John Cettin NMMSS Program, NA-ESH-12 Germantown Building U.S. Department of Energy 1000 Independence Avenue, SW Washington, DC 20585-1290 Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant Unit 2 Docket No. 50-306 Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-60 Nuclear Material Transaction Report 1717 WakonadeDrive Welch, MN 55089 L-Pl-24-005 10 CFR 74.15 Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter "NSPM"), transmitted the Nuclear Material Transaction Report for the addition of the obligations for the new fuel inserted into the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant (PINGP) Unit 2 (Reporting Identification Symbol (RIS) = XBB) during the Unit 2 Cycle 33 refueling outage. This fuel has been irradiated and needs to be obligated to Japan.
The Nuclear Material Transaction Report (XBB to XBB transaction 154) was provided via e-mail to the NMMSS Program, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
Summary of Commitments This letter contains no new commitment or revision to an existing commitment.
