PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS 2014 BIENNIAL PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION AND RESOLUTION INSPECTION AND 2014 END-OF-CYCLE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT AT PRAIRIE ISLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT
Dear Mr. Davison:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct a public meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. CDT on March 17, 2015, in the Summit Room at the St. James Hotel. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum for the NRC to discuss results of the 2014 Biennial Problem Identification and Resolution Inspection and provide the licensee an opportunity to discuss site improvement plans. Following this meeting a Category 3 public open house meeting will take place during which the NRC will discuss NRC activities with the public. In addition, members of the NRC will be available to discuss our assessment of Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant Units 1 and 2 performance in calendar year 2014. Xcel is encouraged to attend this meeting.
