PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS RESULTS OF 2014 BIENNIAL PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION AND RESOLUTION INSPECTION AND TO DISCUSS THE 2014 END-OF-CYCLE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT FOR PRAIRIE ISLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT
Dear Mr. Davison:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct a public meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CDT on May 13, 2015, at the Summit Room at the St. James Hotel, 406 Main Street, Red Wing, Minnesota 55066. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum for the NRC to discuss results of the 2014 biennial Problem Identification and Resolution Inspection and provide you an opportunity to discuss site improvement plans. Following this meeting a Category 3 public open house meeting will take place during which the NRC will discuss NRC activities with the public. In addition, members of the NRC will be available to discuss our assessment of Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant Units 1 and 2 performance in calendar year 2014. This open house will conclude at 8:30 p.m.
Northern States Power Company is encouraged to attend this meeting.
