Please release the funds set to keep this plant open for no reason so they can be utilized to fund renewable energy. Let's stop giving subsidies to fossil fuels and nuclear. No company will even insure nuclear for very good reasons. Pease listen to your brain, not to those waving dollars at you. The California Public Utilities Commission has stated that complete costs are unknown but are expected to exceed $6 billion. The cost burden would be spread to other non-PG&E ratepayers throughout the State.

[External_Sender] Do Not Re-license Diablo

Don't you believe in science and facts? If so, please prove it and stop this unbelievable give out to an aging plant that is on many earthquake faults and should not have been built in the first place. We had an agreement with all parties to shut Diablo down at the end of the licenses of Units 1 and 2 in 2024 and 2025. Just like with Native Americans, the powers that be went back on their word for no reason -- there is NOT an energy emergency. California now has more than 8,500 MW of energy storage capacity with more being added each year, plus up to 5,000 MW of demand response - more than sufficient to ensure grid reliability during extreme weather events.

This is expected to exceed $500 for every family of four. How can you possibly justify this?
