[External_Sender] Extending Diablo canyon While I understand that the sudden transition we are undergoing to prevent the worst effects of climate change is not easy, and that shutting down our nuclear power plant right now adds to that difficulty, it is imperative that Diablo Canyon nuclear plant NOT be given another 20 years.
20 YEARS IS TOO LONG for that aging plant. We don't want to live with uranium mining, radioactive waste, and hazards of transportation and operation that long. There are so many advances being made in renewable energy, storage, and energy efficiency. We will learn to live without it.
