DPR-42 50-306              DPR-60 LER 1-98-05, Supplement 1 Inoperability of Actuation Logic for Main Steam isolation Valves in Certain Flooding Conditions from a Feedwater Line Break This supplement to LER 1-98-05 describes an additionalinstance where a postulated feedwater line break induced flood could have rendered Unit 2 Train A MSIV manual actuation inoperable. This instance was not reported via the Emergency Notification System because it was not reportable in accordance with 10 CFR 50.72.
l In the report, we reiterated two NRC commitments (previously submitted with the original LER on April 22,1998) indicated as the Corrective Actions section statements in bold italics. No additional commitments have been made as a result of the additional              ;
