Attached is a request for a change to the Facility Operating Licenses for 'inits 1 and 2 of the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant (PINGP). Northern States Power Company submits this request in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR50.90.
[O This amendment request proposes to change the implementation date for the relocation from the Technical Specifications to the UFSAR of the requirements in Technical Specification 3.1.E and the flooding shutdown requirements in Technical Specification 5.1. This request proposes that the current implementation date of June 1,1999, be changed to September 1,1999.
Exhibit A contains a description of the proposed change, the reasons for requesting the change, the supporting safety evaluation, and the significant hazards determination. Exhibit B contains current Prairie Island Operating License Appendix B pages marked up to show the proposed change. Exhibit C contains the revised Prairie Island Operating License Appendix B pages incorporating the proposed change.
