      SUBJECT:    BRUNSWICK INITIAL EXAMINATION REPORT NO. 50-324/92-301

      This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission administered examinations led
      by Bob Holbrook during the week of December 7,1992. These examinations were
      administered to employees of your company who had applied for licenses to
      operate your Brunswick Steam Electric Plant. At the conclusion of the exam-
      ination, the examination questions and preliminary findings were discussed
      with those members of your staff identified in examination report,
      Enclosure 1.                                                                            )
      A Simulator Fidelity Report is included in this report as Enclosure 2. The
      NRC Question Resolution is included in this report as Enclosure 3. A copy of
      the written examination questions and answer key, as noted in Enclosure 4, was
      provided to members of the facility's training staff at the conclusion of the
      examination.
      The Generic Fundamental Examination Section (GFES) results for the last two
      Brunswick examination were as follows. In October 1991 eight candidates were
      examined and eight' passed for a 100 percent success rate. In October 1992,            ,
      six candidates were examined, and six passed for a 100 percent success rate.            '
      In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
      this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
