We would like to request that you consider an' extension on the co= ment period for the above references NUREG. This request is based on what we

- believe are significant changes contained in Mr. Eisenhut's letter of May 19, 1980. The position taken by the NRC in this letter is much stronger than in the original NUREG document and we feel the co==ent peried should be extended to appropriately address the issues. An extension until Septe=ber 15, 1980 should lie suf ficient to review the changes.
